Job Summary:
24/7 Mobile Patrol of industrial and rural areas located near Glenevis. 12-hour shifts for 7 days with 7 days off, rotation will change from dayshift to nightshift with each shift change. Security guards work from a Texas Camp requiring that you bring food, clothing, personal hygiene and bedding items for 7 days.
Fort Protection Service Corp. will only consider applicants who apply with a valid ABST license, clean 3-year drivers abstract, professional and experienced driving skills and cleared criminal records check with vulnerable sector check. You will be required to provide copies of all the above requirements and the following documents and certificates:
• Alberta Drivers License (front and back)
• ABST License (front and back)
• First Aid/CPR/AED
• Three-year drivers abstract (within 3 months)
• Police criminal background check with vulnerable sector check
Employment includes:
• Great pay rates based on training and experience
• Company training and uniforms
• Shift work that requires scheduled shifts therefore - must be available to work holidays and weekends if required
Required qualifications:
• Proven experience in security, military, law enforcement or first responders is preferred
• Must pass police clearances (including vulnerable sector)
• Must have a valid Alberta Security Guard license
• Must possess a valid Alberta drivers license with a clear drivers abstract and reliable transportation. Professional and experienced drivers only.
• Possess a valid First Aid and CPR certificate
• Be physically fit to carry out duties required
• Collaborate with law enforcement as needed during emergencies
• Must be a Canadian citizen over the age of 18.

Required skills:
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, possess skills to deal and handle conflicts and challenges, and communicate effectively at various levels
• Excellent communication skills, virtually (email), be English language proficient in both written and verbal ability, possess and demonstrate use of conflict resolution skills and have radio communications experience.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail with ability to always remain alert and attentive. Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team member.

• Ability to document detailed, clear and concise notes, incidents, and prepare reports as required.
• Ability to operate all equipment applicable to role including communication devices, mobile units and surveillance equipment.
Position Duties:
• Monitor surveillance equipment and security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols in variable driving conditions to deter trespassers and pre-emptively identify potential security breaches or safety hazards to prevent incident(s).
• Prevent disruptions from client business operations.
• Respond swiftly and appropriately to alarms, emergencies, or security incidents.
• Utilize a regulated notebook, mobile patrol sheet, and kilometer log sheets.
• Must submit daily and weekly reports via email.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, post orders, federal, provincial and municipal acts, laws and regulations, and be SSIA Regulation and Ministerial Regulation compliant.
• Courteous, friendly, firm and fair demeanor when communicating with community individual, the public, and customers.

TITAN SECURITY GUARD SERVICES

Titan Security Guard Services is open to accepting resumes on an ongoing basis for all security agent positions;  part time and full time shifts. The majority of shifts are evenings and cover weekends and statutory holidays.

To be qualified candidates at Titan Security Guard Services, all guards are required to have the following certifications: Minimum of Alberta Basic Security Lincense, Standard First Aid, WHMIS, FOIP, PRO-TECT
